At Marttinen school camps, the goals of both the participants and the group are at the heart of the experience. At Marttinen and other Finnish youth centres, young people learn and grow through hands-on activities and by trying new things. The school camps support the learning objectives of Finland’s national core curriculum. Together, the Finnish youth centres are the country’s largest organisers of school camps, hosting over 800 camps every year.
For more than 30 years, Marttinen has been known for organising purposeful, high-quality school camps. Careful planning, skilled staff, and a safe environment ensure a rewarding and memorable experience for every group.
The Ministry of Education and Culture supports the educational and social mission of Finland’s youth centres — and this support is reflected in our pricing. Prices vary depending on the programme and the season.

The goals of participants and groups play a main role in the camp school experience. Participants are encouraged to be involved in planning the program and setting objectives from the very beginning. The program can include outdoor adventures exploring the environment, physical activities that help discover personal limits, developing craftsmanship and creativity, cultural heritage excursions that explore different times, or teamwork that embraces collaboration. Full board 60,00 € / person / day alv 0% from 1.4.2025.
Includes accommodation in rooms for 2 to 6 people with their own bedding, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, one self-service sauna slot for the group, and equipment and facilities for self-directed activities (available with booking) until 9 PM. Teachers, guardians, and any drivers will stay in the same facilities as the students.
