The Youth Centre Marttinen is developing as a high-quality international youth work operator
In its 30 years of operation, Youth Centre Marttinen has developed into a high-level and competent centre that serves the youth industry versatilely, taking on a role as a regional, national and international player in the youth work field. The Steering Group of the Council of Europe's Youth Unit (CDEJ) has granted an extension for five years (2022–2026) to the Quality Label for Youth Centres that Marttinen received in 2018, recognizing that Marttinen has maintained and developed the criteria set by the Council of Europe in his operations and structures. Marttinen is one of the fourteen youth centres in Europe that meet the criteria of the quality label.

Marttinen – Youth centre and camp rich in experiences
Marttinen is one of the youth centres funded and overseen by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture. Our diverse youth centre is situated in beautiful scenery in Virrat, Central Finland. Marttinen is 100 km from both Tampere and Seinäjoki, 115 km from Jyväskylä and just 270 km from Helsinki.

Marttinen is a pleasant and safe environment for camps, courses, training and other events the year round.

The historic milieu at Youth Centre Marttinen is home to both modern facilities for hosting larger
camps, seminars, conferences and training events as well as esteemed and picturesque venues for weddings and other important days.

We also provide hotel and log cabin accommodation for up to nearly 200 guests, and our catering kitchen offers professional menus for both conferences and parties.
