The youth centers include 10 specially equipped and furnished centers of traveling and youth work; they are located all around Finland in places such as Ahtela in Sauvo, Anjala in Anjalankoski, Hyvä�rilä� in Nurmes, Marttinen in Virrat, Mets�äkartano in Rautavaara, Oivanki in Kuusamo, Piispala in Kannonkoski, Sy�öte in Pudasj�ärvi, Vasatokka in Inari, and Villa Elba in Kokkola.
The centers form a national network specialized in youth work and its function is to develop the methods used in the field of youth work, to act as a center for furthering the skills of the youth, and enable young people�s traveling domestically and abroad.
The centers are run under the Finnish law covering youth work and by the Ministry of Education. Ministry of Education also supports the work carried out at the centers and this is why the pricing of the services offered at the centers is so reasonable.
